After closing a successful career in the full service station business, KING McInnes found that he was not ready to settle down. His oldest son, Tirey McInnes, was attending school at Texas Tech for Business Management at the time and was looking for a flexible way make money that did not interfere with his studies. Together they created McInnes Lawn Care, later incorporated under McInnes Enterprises to better encompass all of the different business components as the business grew. Shortly after, Kalab McInnes joined the company. The McInnes family developed a passion for the work and decided to all commit themselves fully to a career in providing a quality service in outdoor maintenance in the Lubbock area.
